2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.kensingtonmediahouse.com or shop.kensingtonmediahouse.com (together, the "Websites"); contact us; book a consultation; subscribe to our communications; buy a digital product from our online store; apply for a role; or interact with us as a client, supplier, or other business contact.
Client data. KMH provides retention-marketing services to ecommerce brands. When we access personal information that a client controls in the client's CRM, email, SMS, analytics, or other systems to provide those services, the client is ordinarily the controller and we process that information in connection with the services agreed with that client. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please direct privacy requests to that client in the first instance.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that we do not control, including providers linked or embedded on our Websites.
3. Personal information we collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. We ask that you do not send sensitive, confidential, or special-category personal information through a Website form unless we have specifically requested it.
Visiting the Websites: Information we may collect: IP address; approximate location derived from IP; browser, device, operating-system, and screen information; pages viewed; referral source; links clicked; time spent; cookie identifiers; and other Website interaction data.

Where a meeting is recorded or transcribed, we may collect the recording, transcript, and related summary; we notify participants before recording begins.
Buying a digital product: Information we may collect: Name, email address, billing information, order history, product and download or delivery records, and communications about the order. Our payment providers process payment-card information; KMH does not store full payment-card details.
Applying for a role: Information we may collect: Name, contact details, CV/resume, portfolio, employment history, education, interview and assessment records, references, and information you choose to provide.
Dealing with us in a business capacity: Information we may collect: Business contact details, project and correspondence records, contract and billing information, support requests, and supplier due-diligence information.
We may derive limited internal information from the data above, such as whether you are an existing contact or whether a particular KMH service may be relevant to your business. We do not use the Websites to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

KMH is established in Ireland. Our personnel, clients, and service providers may be located in, or process personal information from, countries outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
Where a transfer requires a safeguard, we use an appropriate lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, European Commission standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement, or another recognised mechanism. 11. Your rights and choices
EEA and UK rights
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to your personal information, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or information about our processing. U.S. state privacy rights
To the extent applicable U.S. state privacy law applies to our processing, residents of certain states may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, appeal a decision on a rights request, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, or certain profiling.
We do not exchange personal information for money. However, the use of optional advertising technologies may be treated as "sharing" or as a "sale" under some U.S. state privacy laws when used for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can submit a request or opt out through Cookie Settings or by using a legally recognised opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, where applicable.
To submit a U.S. state privacy request or appeal, email privacy@kensingtonmediahouse.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.4
12. Children
The Websites, store, and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
